The goals of the workshop were to introduce the EWN initiative; identify opportunities and establish collaborations between RSM and EWN; and conduct the annual RSM In-Progress-Review. The workshop was sponsored by the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE or the Corps) Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) RSM and Dredging Operations Environmental Research (DOER) Programs and further served as a conduit to share technical presentations and lessons learned. The workshop also provided a venue for participants to network, to participate in valuable discussions of relevant experiences, and to generate outcomes that will support the USACE Navigation, Flood Risk Management, and Environmental Restoration missions.
