This project will create a permanent large wood nourishment management program at Libby Dam, and provide a template for initiating similar programs in other locations or by other USACE Districts and agencies. The project will demonstrate that natural, process-based approaches can result in more cost-effective solutions compared to more traditional hard engineering approaches.<\/p>\n\n\n
