Evaluating the Impact of Nature-Based Solutions: A Handbook for Practitioners, developed by the European Union, provides a comprehensive nature-based-solutions impact assessment framework for decision-makers. It includes indicators developed through the collaboration of 17 EU-funded nature-based-solution projects and institutions to assess the use of nature-based solutions to address 12 key areas, including “climate resilience, water management, natural and climate hazards, green space management, biodiversity, air quality, place regeneration, knowledge and social capacity building for sustainable urban transformation, participatory planning and governance, social justice and social cohesion, health and well-being, and new economic opportunities and green jobs” (48). An Appendix of Methods accompanies the handbook.
