The SAME 2019 Sustainability Forum was hosted at the University of Washington, Husky Union Building (HUB). This one-day training forum featured keynote speaker Dr. Todd Bridges, USACE National Lead for the Engineering With Nature Initiative (EWN) and Luncheon Speaker Stephanie Solien, Vice Chair Puget Sound Partnership, Co-Chair Southern Resident Orca Task Force. The training forum was composed of sessions focused on Puget Sound Recovery Track and the Built Environment Track. A session focused on EWN discussed a broad range of applications and value that can be provided by using the EWN approach specific to the Puget Sound region.
