Aubrey E. Harris is a research civil engineer with the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC) Environmental Laboratory (EL). She is stationed in Albuquerque, New Mexico. She has a PhD in Civil Engineering (Water Resources) with a minor in Community and Regional Planning at the University of New Mexico. She has a bachelor’s degree in Biological and Agricultural Engineering from Texas A&M University and a masters in Civil Engineering from West Virginia University. Her research involves hydraulic modeling for environmental flows with applications on ecosystem restoration, spatial analysis and infrastructure assessment.
