Jesse Ross is an Environmental Specialist with the U.S. Navy and serves as the Coordinator for Innovation Landscapes of the Southwest. In his role, Jesse focuses on integrating nature-based solutions into Navy infrastructure and operations, particularly within arid and semi-arid environments. His work emphasizes sustainable practices that enhance both environmental resilience and mission readiness.
Jesse holds both a Bachelor of Science and a Master of Science in Civil and Environmental Engineering from the University of New Hampshire. He was also a Knauss Marine Policy Fellow, during which he contributed to the Navy’s Office of the Deputy Assistant Secretary for Environment, providing insights into environmental policy and strategic planning.
Through his combined expertise in engineering and policy, Jesse advances innovative approaches to environmental stewardship within the Department of Defense.
