Bio

Douglas Krafft is a research coastal engineer at the U.S. Army Engineer Research and Development Center (ERDC). His work at ERDC involves the beneficial use of dredged sediment to aid the Corp’s Navigation mission and facilitate and promote sustainable coastal practices. This has included simple analytic models, numerical modeling, and data analysis to advance the state of the science and practice of beneficially using dredged sediment, particularly in the nearshore.
