Elizabeth Murray is a Research Biologist in the Wetlands and Coastal Ecology Branch of the Environmental Laboratory at the Corps’ Engineer Research and Development Center. She has worked as a wetland ecologist for nearly 25 years, specializing in wetland assessment, ecological restoration and resource management. Elizabeth’s current interests include wetland assessment, salt marsh restoration utilizing Engineering With Nature principles, addressing ecosystem goods and services in decision making, and resilience of coastal ecosystems and landscapes in light of sea level rise and increased storm threats due to climate change.
