Bio

Justin McDonald currently serves as Chief of the Civil Works Programs and Project Management Branch for the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers, Mobile District. He oversees a staff of project managers, program managers, analysts, schedulers, and other professionals in the planning, engineering, design, and construction of complex, multi-million-dollar water resource and national defense related projects across the region. He has over 23 years of experience in the areas of civil, coastal, hydraulic, and hydrologic engineering as well as dredging, project management, and construction contract management. He has a Bachelor of Civil Engineering and a Master of Science in Civil Engineering from Auburn University. He is a registered professional engineer in the State of Alabama.

Mr. McDonald serves as the point of contact for the Mobile District’s Engineering With Nature (EWN) Proving Ground—part of a USACE network advancing the integration of EWN principles by implementing innovative approaches for broader adoption
