Sarah Copertino

Environmental Resource Specialist, USACE Omaha District

Bio

Sarah Copertino joined the US Army Corps of Engineers Omaha District Planning Branch in 2023. She supports a wide range of Civil Works projects through NEPA compliance and geospatial analysis as an Environmental Resource Specialist, including work on large-scale levee setbacks. In addition to Civil Works planning studies, Sarah has supported the EWN program through research along the Missouri River and through development of the EWN Compass. She received a Bachelor of Science in Geology as well as Environment & Natural Resources from the University of Wyoming. She also received a certificate in Geographic Information Science from the University of Wyoming.
