Dr. Candice Piercy – Driving Change

Dr. Candice Piercy was recently the focus of an article at DrivingChange.org.

The article highlights her path to a career of Engineering With Nature as a Research Environmental Engineer. She is an engineer with a deep understanding of biological process. Candice’s knowledge of both fields paired with her congenial nature make her an effective integrator in these traditionally distinct disciplines.

Ultimately, we want natural infrastructure solutions to be one of several solutions for any sort of problem, for example, flood or coastal storm risk management and navigation, to keep our waterways open and navigable.

Dr. Candice Piercy

As the article states, “Piercy’s expertise perfectly met the needs of a new era.”

We could not agree more.
