The Network for Natural Infrastructure (NNI) is a network of vested organizations creating a resilient future through built and natural infrastructure that work together to improve societal wellbeing by delivering more value and benefits to people and ecosystems.
The Network for Natural Infrastructure (NNI) invites you to join a monthly continuing education series about best practices, cutting-edge research, and the latest developments in the field of natural infrastructure. Continuing Education Credits (1-hr) are available to all attendees who join live.
The Network for Natural Infrastructure (NNI) was established in 2019 as the Network for Engineering With Nature through a partnership between the U.S. Army Corps of Engineers (USACE) and the University of Georgia (UGA) to accelerate the development and application of nature-based solutions and natural infrastructure. In 2026, the group rebranded as NNI to reflect their independence, scope and impact.
Led by USACE researchers Dr. Todd Bridges and Dr. Jeffrey King, along with UGA’s Dr. Brian Bledsoe, NNI brings together experts from multiple disciplines. Since its inception, NNI has grown to 48 partner organizations as of 2026, uniting academic institutions, federal agencies, and industry leaders to accelerate the research, implementation, and adoption of nature-based solutions. It serves as a hub for knowledge, tools, and collaboration to drive innovation in Engineering With Nature.
