Department of the Navy Hosts Meeting on Climate Resilience in Hawaii

29, 2022)

Purpose

The Department of the Navy (DON) hosted a discussion on nature-based climate resilience. This meeting is part of a collaboration with the Army Corps of Engineer’s Engineering With Nature® program.

Stakeholder participants shared ongoing initiatives and opportunities to collaborate on implementing nature-based solutions to enhance resilience for DON installations, as well as neighboring communities and ecosystems in Hawaii. Read more here.

PMRF is the world’s largest instrumented multi-environment range capable of supporting surface, subsurface, air and space operations simultaneously.
